Barcelona are considering a summer bid for Chelsea's Brazilian star David Luiz, according to reports in Spain.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a fine season at Stamford Bridge, particularly after moving from central defence into central midfield under Rafael Benitez.
And that has reportedly caught Barcelona's eye, with the Spanish champions weighing up whether to make an offer for the former Benfica star.
That move is dependent on whether Barca make an offer for Luiz's central defensive partner in the Brazilian national team, Thiago Silva.
But El Mundo Deportivo believe Luiz is a valid option for Barcelona, who are looking to strengthen their defensive options after being knocked out by Bayern Munich in the semi-finals conceeding a defeat 7-0 aggregate..
And reports have emerged that Jose Mourinho - who is all but certain to be confirmed as Chelsea's new manager - would consider selling Luiz when he arrives this summer.
